So I invite you to take the plunge and submit your play production.  We make it easy for you, and best of all we are in the heart of New York City - a block away from Broadway, not way off in another borough or way way uptown near the Bronx or way way downtown impossible to find.  We are in the heart of the theatrical community in New York City.  The center of the theatrical universe.  (What fun, huh?)

There are a lot of festivals in town, but just so you know, we are not a play festival.  We are an on-going Independent Theatre passionately producing new work.  So we don't have 15 minute turnover time - we allow more than ample time for a proper meet and greet with your audience after your show.  We run a clean theatre for actors and audience alike - we are not a dusty mess like many of the Festival houses in this city.

And we offer a minimum of 5 hours of Tech and Dress rehearsal in the theatre you will be performing in - not just one tech night - we offer two!  And also the possibility of renting the theatre for the same you would pay for a rehearsal studio so you can even get more rehearsal in the theatre you will be performing in.

And we are committed to the artist, not to running as many shows as is humanly possible in any given evening.  It is civilized and professional here, and we are passionate about theatre and about helping you put on the best show possible.

We are not another festival.  We are not just throwing plays together to see how many we can fit in any given theatre at any given time.  We are actively helping you produce an awesome show on 42nd St.

So I invite you to submit your play production.  We will support you through the process for we have produced over 1500 plays on 42nd St and 8th Ave since we opened our doors 9 years ago.  Man, what fun!

If you have any questions about any or all, please email me at and I will answer any and all.

I hope you can join us.

With best regards,

Ken Wolf
