“We loved our experience at MRT! Ken runs such a tight ship, and he does it with great passion and humor. The 10 Minute Play Contest was a blast! We had so much fun doing the show multiple times, and Ken was incredibly supportive of the writers, actors and directors. He clearly loves presenting new theatrical works. And he keeps his theatre immaculate! He is also great with emails - very responsive and specific. Overall a fantastic experience, and I hope to come back again!”

We have been producing new work here in New York City for over 11 years. (Over 1000 full length plays and close to 2000 short works.) Putting up a successful play production in NYC is quite a challenge and there are a myriad of factors that either make or break a production.

Our new Premiere Play Series is an attempt streamline the process of play production and solve some of the most challenging problems of producing a play in NYC.

There are so many festivals now in town where plays are slapped into theaters with very limited tech, dress and rehearsal time. Often it is twice the play length, or a daytime Tech/Dress for 4 or 5 hours tops where you are stressed out of your mind attempting to perfect your play in this strange theatre while the clock is ticking.

For Full-Length Plays:

3 performances in Midtown.

10 hours of Theatre time minimum.

Production Consultation and more!

NOT part of a crazy Festival with scores of plays!

A play is fiction - and fiction is fact distilled into truth.

Acting is not about being someone different. It's finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there.
